Voter Questions
Do I need a staff application account to vote?
No. Staff-facing authorised user accounts and voter access are separate. Voting depends on an active eligible election-register record and an enabled verification method.
Can an election officer vote?
Yes, where the officer is otherwise an eligible voter. Appointment does not automatically include or exclude the person from the register.
Can an election officer see my vote?
The accepted ballot tables do not contain a voter foreign key. Officers may see participation status and aggregate results, not a routine voter-to-selection link. This is application-level separation, not an absolute guarantee against a compromised live system.
What is my member PIN used for?
It verifies your identity where the election enables PIN access. It is not stored on the ballot. Keep it secret.
Why did my code expire?
One-time credentials are deliberately time-limited and may be single-use. Request a new code through the official page where available.
Can I vote twice?
No. The election eligibility record and credential/ticket controls prevent a second accepted ballot.
Can I change my vote after submitting?
No. Review carefully before final submission.
What does the receipt show?
It confirms inclusion of an anonymous accepted ballot. It does not display your selections.
What should I do if I am missing from the register?
Contact the Commission before voting opens and use the official objection process where available. Do not ask an officer to add you informally during an open poll.
How do I report misconduct?
Use an election objection for a candidate or process issue. Use the officer-complaint form for alleged conduct by an appointed officer. Save the generated reference.
Is assistance allowed?
Where enabled, assistance may support accessibility or verification, but the choice remains yours and secrecy must be preserved.
